We aim to keep in regular contact with different experts from distilleries such as The Glenlivet, Glenfiddich and Balvenie to name but a few, to ensure our bar is up to date and holding some of the newer or more special releases.

Whether you are an enthusiastic beginner or a knowledgable connoisseur we are happy to advise and assist with tours and nosings where possible.
The Glenlivet is only a five minute walk away and many of the others are a short car or taxi ride away. Most have a nominal entry fee or are free and all give a free tasting at the end of their tour. Should you wish to book on a connoisseurs tour (and we do advise booking to avoid disappointment), then you may wish to consider one of the following:

Glenfiddich
Balvenie

And finally, there are a number of distilleries nearby which are closed to the public but on occasion, with some bribery and arm twisting we have been able to get guests through the door, so please ask you may be pleasantly suprised.


WHISKY NOSINGS RETURN TO MINMORE

With the assistance of local experts and knowledgable staff, we would be delighted to arrange a personal whisky nosing during your stay at Minmore. Be it aimed towards our neighbour The Glenlivet's different expressions or perhaps a tour around Speyside or even further afield around the whisky producing regions of Scotland, you can experience the flavours & aromas of some carefully selected expressions without moving away from our cosy bar fire.
